Microsoft Bookings |
Microsoft Bookings can make scheduling and managing appointments incredibly easy. We recently utilized it to book service appointments for our network team and thought it could be a valuable tool for our clients and partners. It can be used to send out links to allow members to book membership calls or for a manager to book reviews or periodic meetings. Bookings includes a web-based booking calendar and integrates with Outlook to optimize your staff’s calendar and give your customers or staff flexibility to book a time that works best for them also reducing the time spent scheduling, reducing no-shows thru confirmation emails and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. Bookings provides you the ability to make your organization’s meetings virtual with online meetings via Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business. Each appointment booked as an online meeting creates a unique meeting link that is sent to attendees so they can join via a web browser, phone dial-in, or the Skype or Teams app. Bookings is also available as an app within Teams, which allows you to create Bookings calendars, assign staff, and both schedule new and manage existing appointments without ever leaving Teams. For more information on how you can utilize Microsoft Bookings, please reach out to our Network Team. |

Make Data-Informed Decisions with Confidence
Association Analytics is an innovator in bringing data analytics to the association market. With the Acumen business intelligence platform, associations can combine all of their disparate data sources into a true 360-degree view of their members and their organization. Acumen is designed to help you get more value out of the technology and data investments you already have today – everything from your online community to your email platform, LMS, event registration tools, websites, social media platforms and more. We’re able to pull AMS data from systems like iMIS and connect it with any other systems you have in your technology stack for managing the member experience and member engagement.

The Acumen product solves this challenge for you by giving you access to real-time data insights that can be used to inform your business strategies and tactics.
Building a Culture of Data Analytics
Once you have a complete, accurate, and trusted view of your data in Acumen, your organization can start to understand where there are opportunities to drive revenue, lower costs, and improve the member experience. Data-informed decisions will lead to higher profitability and enable your staff to use data in their day-to-day operations. Dave has been with Association Technologies since 2015. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2010 from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media and focus in Information Technologies, Dave worked in the legal industry for 5 years. Looking for an additional challenge with a desire to get into consulting, Dave discovered AT thru his mom who worked at one of AT's clients and it was a perfect fit. Dave handles a lot of our network training and supports all of our managed services. When asked what is his favorite part about working at AT, he replied "the people that we get to work with. We have a strong network team and the whole company is more like a family than co-workers." Outside of work enjoys his family time and is currently busy doing lots of home improvement projects to update the house they purchased in February. Dave met his wife Julie at a family party (she was a friend of his cousin) and they were married in 2018. Julie is a pediatric nurse practitioner and they have a son Leo who will be two in March and are expecting a girl in March as well. In his free time Dave still enjoys playing soccer (he has played his entire life and in college as well) and enjoys playing indoors in men's leagues with other 30 somethings,
And now a few questions to get to know a little more about Dave:
Three fun facts about Dave:
- He likes snow skiing but didn't know how to ski until he was in his 20's and actually learned in Vail, Colorado
- He owns a drum set that he has had since college and would love to learn and perfect his drum skills.
- Both his brother and sister also went to Depaul so he actually had college classes with both of them.
If he wasn't working at AT he would be: His dream job would be to be a dog walker. Julie and Dave had their first date at Montrose Dog Beach with their two dogs. Jolene is a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shephard mix that Dave adopted 6 years ago and Louie is a French Bulldog who was Julie's dog. Together they are one happy family.
What is his most memorable project at AT: The server infrastructure update in 2018/2019 was his most memorable project because it was like installing a Porsche. The cutting edge technology made it super interesting and all the fast, cool, geeky technology aspects of the project made it a lot of fun and a huge learning opportunity as well.
Final fun fact: He recently got an old Grundig record player and is acquiring vinyl and expanding his music collection. He doesn't have a favorite style of music and enjoys classic rock and listens to electronic trance music to stay focused at work.
Photos: Halloween (love those costumes!), the gender reveal and Leo all bundled up to help Dad shovel
