After a recent trip, I had an unsettling realization: I hadn’t seen my Kindle since we returned home. The thought sent me into a spiral—did I leave it somewhere? Was it hiding in plain sight at home? Should I start tearing the house apart to find it? If only I could remember whether I’d brought it home, I’d know whether the search was even worth my time.
As my husband always says, “Take it out of the equation.” That advice got me thinking: what could I do to take the stress of losing things out of the picture?
Cue Amazon to the rescue. While searching for solutions, I stumbled upon a Bluetooth tracking card called MiCard that’s equipped with a wireless, rechargeable battery. It’s about the size of a credit card and only slightly thicker—perfect for slipping into small spaces like a Kindle case, wallet or passport. I ordered a pack of two, and they arrived the next day.
Setting up the MiCards was quick and easy. They paired seamlessly with my iPhone Find My app (iOS only), allowing me to set up alerts for when I leave them behind. I placed one in my wallet and tucked the other into the thin pocket of my Kindle’s leather cover.
I’m never without either my wallet or my Kindle. If I happen to forget them, my phone will notify me right away. If the items are misplaced, I can play a sound to locate them. These trackers have given me peace of mind and saved me from the stress of tearing apart the house—or worse, retracing my steps through an entire trip.
Thanks to the MiCards, I’ve taken the worry of losing these everyday essentials completely out of the equation.

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) has recently achieved wonderful success in member engagement, thanks to the innovative use of PropFuel. This powerful tool has transformed how AAPMR connects with its members, providing valuable insights and fostering a deeper sense of connection. |
|
|
|
A critical AAPMR PropFuel campaign was launched to gather responses from medical students about their post-graduation plans. With this information, they were able to update member types on a recurring basis, ensuring that their records were always up-to-date. This initiative has significantly improved their ability to understand and meet the needs of their members on their own unique and individual journeys.
Jordan Burghardt, a staff member at AAPMR, shared their experience, “At AAPM&R, PropFuel has been a game-changer in how we connect with our members. Its conversational approach to member engagement has allowed us to gather actionable insights while fostering a sense of connection and personalization. Recently, we’ve leveraged PropFuel to remind them to renew their annual dues before the end of the year. The real-time feedback loop has not only improved our decision-making but has also demonstrated to our members that their voices are being heard. It’s been an invaluable tool in enhancing engagement and driving meaningful interactions.”
This success story highlights the importance of leveraging tools to enhance member engagement. In summary, PropFuel is an invaluable tool for any organization looking to better understand and engage with its members. As your member base grows, it can become increasingly challenging to keep track of individual voices. PropFuel ensures that every member feels heard and valued, making it an essential addition to your engagement strategy. And even better... the ease of use for staff and your stakeholders makes it a game-changer in how you – Ask, Capture, and Act.

This holiday season, our team embraced the spirit of giving by purchasing toys to support Toys for Tots. The organization is dedicated to bringing the joy of Christmas and a message of hope to children in need across the country, through the gift of a toy.
On December 1st, we proudly participated in the annual Jeeps on the Run event. It was truly awe-inspiring to see 400 Jeeps convoy together on a 45-minute journey to deliver toys to the Marines. With the help of our contributions and others, an incredible 10,408 toys were collected—filling two semi-trailers! These donations will help brighten the holiday season for so many deserving children.

Recently, we had the opportunity to attend AMS Fest to support one of our clients in their digital transformation, with the goal of assisting them in selecting a new Association Management System (AMS). This event proved to be an invaluable resource, allowing our client to efficiently evaluate more than 30 AMS solutions within a condensed two-day period.
AMS Fest is known for its focused approach, bringing together a diverse range of AMS vendors and industry experts. The event is designed to provide attendees with an almost ‘speed dating’ approach to touring the solutions showcasing trends, features, and innovations in the AMS market. For our client, this meant a unique opportunity to engage directly with vendors, ask pertinent questions, and see live demonstrations of various systems.
One of the standout features of AMS Fest is its structured format, which includes:
Vendor Presentations: Each vendor had the chance to present their AMS solutions, highlighting key features and benefits. This allowed our client to quickly grasp the unique selling points of each system.
Networking Opportunities: The event facilitated networking with other association professionals, providing a platform to share experiences and gather recommendations.
Expert Workshops: Sessions led by industry experts covered a range of topics, from best practices in AMS implementation to future trends in association management technology.
AMS Fest was particularly successful for our client because they went in armed with a plan. They had previously invested time crafting their key unique requirements for the AMS. By using simple scoring and evaluating immediately against those priorities, they were able to create a final list of RFI candidates to move forward with on their AMS selection journey.
For our client, AMS Fest was not just about evaluating software; it was about making an informed decision that aligns with their specific needs and goals. The ability to compare multiple solutions side-by-side in such a short timeframe was particularly beneficial, saving them countless hours of individual research and meetings.
In conclusion, AMS Fest provided a streamlined and effective way for our client to explore the AMS landscape, ultimately aiding them in making a well-informed choice for their association’s future. The event’s comprehensive approach and the wealth of information available made it an essential experience for anyone in the market for a new AMS solution.
