HighRoad Solutions |
After a difficult few years, we’ve noticed that associations are doing their best to find opportunities for growth. While they’re paying attention to their data sets and looking for patterns that reflect engagement and “readiness to buy” opportunities, it’s still a challenge overall. That’s where HighRoad Solutions spends most of their time these days - supporting associations who are trying to activate their iMIS data to deliver effective and successful marketing campaigns.
HighRoad leans into the “martech” equation to focus on equal parts digital marketing expertise and technical experience. Many associations are turning to marketing basics to help teams focus on activation efforts, whether they are using email broadcast techniques or marketing automation. Regardless of the technology you have it in place, it all starts with knowing who the ideal member is, their attributes and what their challenges and objectives are at an individualized level. Understanding these “personas” helps teams identify and map the appropriate content that potential members initially relate to, and then keep returning for more. Building personas may seem like a huge lift with little actionable results, but they are in fact the quickest way to align your organization to your member’s needs. You’ve got all the data you need in iMIS to get started, and it’s just a matter of pulling the right pieces of information into place. Curious to know how to get started? HighRoad has a Persona Segmentation Workshop that helps associations look at their data sets, map them to fully realized personas, which can then be used to build content and campaign strategy. Learn more at https://pages.highroadsolutions.com/get-personas.

Chris graduated from Miami University in May, 2020 with a degree in Economics and then received a Masters in Economics in December 2020. Chris met his fiancée, Paige at Miami University and later proposed under the Upham Arch. Paige began her career as a social worker. Chris and Paige live in downtown Columbus with their cat Scarlett and are busy planning their upcoming wedding which will be June 25, 2023 in Columbus.
Chris has technically always been a part of the AT family and literally grew up with the company (he is Mark's oldest son). He officially joined the team in November 2020 as an intern and just became fulltime in January. His current responsibilities are primarily related to application consulting and he is immersed in learning that role. He is also doing some analytics and still works with the network team on tickets, remote builds and back ups. He enjoys working with the team a lot because 'it's a great group' and he likes being able to interact with the AT team as well as the clients. He is currently learning the ropes of application consulting and likes learning and trying new things every week.
Outside of work, Chris spends a lot of time with Paige. He enjoys reading, going to the gym and trying new restaurants in the city. He says that he is a creature of habit and follows the same schedule each weekday: gets up at 5:00am, works out, takes Paige to work, eats breakfast, works, cooks dinner and then watches tv or reads.
And now a few questions to get to know a little more about Chris:
Three fun facts about Chris:
- In college, Chris spent a month in Australia working with service dogs.
- He read the entire Harry Potter series in 2 days in 6th grade.
- Paige and Chris are expecting a baby on Chris' birthday, August 31st, 2022. (This means Mark will officially be a Grandpa!)
Favorites: His favorite book is The Silmarillion by J. R. R Tolkein, favorite movie is Thor: Ragnorak and the movie he has seen the most is Now You See Me. His favorite TV show is Stranger Things.
What is a super power you wish you had? Chris would choose to be Captain America
First thing he would buy if he won the lottery: He would take Paige on a vacation to Europe.
Favorite drink: Whiskey
Favorite vacation spots: He really enjoyed the Bahamas and also Toronto (in the summer)
