Clowder |
Did you know that the average person spends 4+ hours on a mobile device? And 92 percent of that time is spent using apps. Think this is a generational trend? Think again. Gen X/Baby Boomers spent 30 percent more time year-over-year using apps in 2020. There’s no denying it — mobile devices rule the world.
Savvy, forward-thinking associations are leveraging this trend to improve member communication, increase member renewal rates, recruit new members, and grow non-dues revenue with iMIS Mobile powered by Clowder.
iMIS Mobile powered by Clowder is a year-round, multi-purpose mobile app, fully integrated with iMIS. With it you can replace one-time use event apps, facilitate member-to-member networking, and provide a new line of communication to members.
iMIS Mobile powered by Clowder can also help your help you recapture lost revenue and discover new revenue streams:
- Drive more traffic to revenue producing tools like your career center, online store, etc.
- Recruit and engage with younger members in a format they expect
- Offer your members a new benefit that also makes it easier to renew
- Sell display ads and sponsored content to cover, or even exceed, the cost of your app

Amy graduated from Augustana with a degree in elementary education. After a very brief period teaching, she was recruited by an educational software company. She worked her way up from sales to operations and then to management and so began her love of computers and software. She went on to start a new educational software company with a group of prior co-workers and created software and lesson plans. Ultimately, Amy discovered AT thru a mutual friend at church and became a Project Manager in 2016. She enjoys the variety in her job and the opportunity to explain technology and how it can help our clients and make their jobs easier. Her teaching background helps her simplify technology for our clients. Having worked in many different companies over the years she thinks AT has the best working environment of any company she has worked for. The family atmosphere and camaraderie at AT make it a fun place to work.
Outside of work, Amy stays busy with her husband Gary, son Zachary (8) and their new puppy Jet. Zachary plays football, baseball, karate and golf and also loves Legos, Pokemon and trains. She also stays busy corralling her puppy Jet whose favorite activity is eating the tv remote. She lives near Lily Lake and enjoys a lot of outdoor time driving the go-kart with Zachary and playing outside.
And now a few questions to get to know a little more about Amy:
Three fun facts about Amy:
- Amy and Zach have a shared love of Legos and have built countless sets some totaling nearly 3,000 pieces.
- Amy developed a love of travel after studying abroad in college and has visited many countries including Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Turkey and Germany.
- Amy was once locked under Coors Field in Colorado after a game while waiting for her cousin that played major league baseball. Security eventually found her and let her out.
If she wasn't working at AT she would be: She would love to be a full-time mom, professional scrapbooker and landscape designer.
Favorite vacation spot: Disney, she has enjoyed 'the happiest place on earth' many times
Favorite Music: Her current favorite album is the soundtrack from the Lego Ninjago movie, she and Zacahary play the sound "Found My Place" to gear up for every home football game.
What is the weirdest job you have ever had: In high school and early college, Amy was the assistant manager at Old MacDonald's Farm at Santa's Village. Highlights included delivering baby goats, getting bit by a a monkey and herding horses off of Route 72.
